One of the simplest descriptions of editing is that “editing takes out the bad bits.” How many times have you taken video of an important event only to have it languish in the camera or an a tape, totally impossible to watch because it’s too long and contains lots of “bad bits.”

We believe that every person’s story is sacred. We believe that each one of us has something important to say and share with our friends and family members. After helping hospice patients share life stories for more than six years, we have found that most people find a great deal of power and healing in knowing that the ideas and beliefs that we most cherish have been passed on to younger generations. Having lost loved ones to death prematurely, we also know that the younger generations in turn seek and cherish this wisdom from our elders.
